LIMITED HOURS

&

LIMITED STAFF

Due to the current circumstances there have been some necessary changes put in place for your safety and the safety of our staff. LCAMC is currently allowing only 6 non-staff members to enter the building at a time to sit in the waiting area during patient exams.  In addition, we are currently working with limited hours and staff. Wait times will be longer than anticipated and we ask that you please have patience with us as we work harder than ever to be there for you and your furry family members. Please make note of these changes and follow the guidelines in order to ease the longer wait times and any additional stresses we may find ourselves under during these trying times.  See below for detailed instructions. We thank you for trusting us with the care of your family and look forward to being there for you.

ARRIVING FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT

When arriving at the clinic please take note of the number on the ground of your chosen parking spot. Please call the clinic at 504-444-1124 to check in. You will be asked the parking spot number in order for staff to locate you if there is difficulty reaching you on your cell phone. Please make sure the front desk has your current phone number. At first availability, a technician will call you to verify the reason for the appointment and obtain a medical history.  You will then be asked to meet the staff member at the front door with your pet, and you may either sit in the waiting area or return to your car to wait. Please remember to give any medical records to the technician at that time. Once the exam is completed, the veterinarian will come speak with you in the waiting area or call you on the phone to discuss clinical findings, desired diagnostics and agree on a plan of action. Please be available to answer your phone when called. Answering promptly will reduce wait time. YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE PREMISES DURING THE VISIT. Once you have communicated with the doctor you may then pay your bill and have your pet is returned to you.
